So I found this Me Time Tag via the awesome blog by my good pal That Gent Mark. As I’ve found myself short on posts recently; I felt it be fun to shine a little light on what I do when I’m all by myself.
1. What do you do during me-time?
Well this really does depend on how or what I’m feeling on any given Me Time day; I could easily waste a day watching almost anything on Netflix; May even put on one of the games consoles and play; Produce music or remix; have a quick mixing session (Dj’n) or completely get lost online be it social media or blogs. So I guess in short; Anything 🙂
2. What do you wear during me-time?
The same thing I would wear during any other time; whatever I feel; if I know I’m not seeing anyone or have no plans to venture out; then jogger bottoms or shorts (if it’s warm) and of course a tee.
3. What do you eat or drink during me-time?
Water; Tea; Coffee the usual go to fluids; I’ve been moving away from the overindulgence of junk food etc.
4. Current favourite candle?
I’ve never been a fan of scented candles, But Ikea sells a SINNLIG Red Sweet berries candle which has become a fav so I will buy me some more of those.
5. Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
If the weather is great then I may from time to time venture out; be it for a walk in the park or to simply chill out in the back garden.
6. Would you ever go see a movie alone?
I have and I’m more than happy to do so again; I see no shame in going alone; when you go it alone you appreciate company so much more; Lifehacker has a great write up on 10 things that happen when you go it alone. http://tinyurl.com/k6rc54x
7. Favourite online shop?
I tend not to online shop; still, very much a fan of the high street and care to not see it die; That being said; I’ve recently been buying clothes online and Asos and BoohooMan have been a great go to stores for me.
8. Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?
Me time is a special time; we all need it every now and again; it allows for us to switch off from the everyday drama. It can also give us the opportunity to connect with the things we love; be it a hobby or your pet.
